I have made many desserts, but this was a first! I simply ADORED these individual sized cakes for a lovely tea party themed wedding shower. When I walked into the room at a local church where this event was being held I fell in love with the décor. These little treats topped with fresh mini garden roses were the perfect sweet addition to a lovely tea!
This cake was made for a special bride who I have known her whole life! She came in quite a few months ago with her fairy tale “happily ever after” themed cake in mind and that’s exactly what she got! Lots of sprakles and rhinestones made this cake special for Ashley and Nate’s special day!
I LOVED this cake…one of my favorites! This cake was semi naked on the top two tiers and adorned with 24k edible gold leaf. The bottom tier was a beautiful and time intensive white flower ruffle. I loved the beaty of the gold and the rustic ruffles. It was a beautiful day at a beautiful venue ❤
I love that brides and grooms get to choose what THEY want…..they can personalize their cake and desserts to fit their style and their sweet tooth. Johnathan and Cathy had such sweet personalities and it showed in this adorable cake. They chose this smaller three tiered cake with a couple of sheet akes and delicious fruit topped mini cheesecakes. Such a personalized and fun event!!
There is something very beautiful about a simple rustic looking cake. I love how it’s imperfectly perfect and how it can be easily dressed up with some beautiful simple flowers. I’ve had the opporunity to deliver cakes at some amazing locations, and most I had never heard of. Some of these locations have been small wineries in the area that host the most beautiful weddings with breathtaking views, delicious food and very accommodating set ups.
Naked cakes are the rage!! I love the simple designs and letting the beautiful flowers do the talking. What do you think??
Charolette and her groom got married up at Coarsegold, CA at a very beautiful venue. She was a simple bride and ordered chocolate dipped strawberries, Dipped Pretzel Rods, and Cake Pops as well as delicious little mini fruit tarts. Each tart had a creamy cream cheese filling topped with fresh raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. YUM!
She also ordered a pretty little two tiered cake for her and her love to cut. I was able to hand pipe flower lace to make it look embroidered. Time consuming but so so pretty and unique. It was a joy to make and I love seeing the pretty pictures of everything!!
